I'm working on a Big Bad Baby Blanket from Stitch 'n' Bitch, for a new extended family member expected to make an appearance in May. I chose an easy care acrylic, rather than the wool in the pattern. Since the pattern calls for two strands held together, I am pairing a white strand with a pastel-flecked strand. Pretty traditional baby looking, but nice and soft so far.
I may need to put it down for a few evenings to make a little hat for a certain princess fairy's second birthday. Princess Fairy is moving to Oregon this spring, and head warmth will be important in the Pacific Northwest.
